Palliser Bayview Pumphill Community Association

Gerry of reZolve Communications and several colleagues, Linda and Larissa acted as facilitators for our Town Hall meeting in October.  They met with us prior to the Town Hall meeting and we received useful advice on how the meeting should be managed.

Gerry and his team handled the three hour meeting in a most productive and positive manner.  The planned process for the meeting was explained thoroughly to the approximately 200 attendees, and then followed throughout the meeting.  Gerry introduced our panel and facilitated the ensuing presentations followed by a question and answer session, keeping the discussion moving and on topic, while creating an atmosphere of cooperation and respect.

I am writing on behalf of the entire PBPCA Board of Directors to advise that we were extremely satisfied with how the facilitation was handled and would not hesitate to use the services again.

Recently, our community board decided to terminate the contract of a service provider. We engaged the provider in a follow-up meeting; however, we faced personal attacks, swearing and negative comments.
Afterward, some of the board members were concerned that the same might occur at our Annual General Meeting (AGM). We had Gerry Doerksen of reZolve Communications help us with the setup of the AGM. He provided assistance by: 1) offering to facilitate the meeting 2) setting the tone / boundaries 3) monitoring emotions 4) providing support/encouragement to all in attendance. We had a successful meeting due to this proactive approach.
